I've been working a few programs to help me manage pdfs that I've created around the house.
I copy all of my bills and correspondances so that I have a digial record of all of my
documents. This is of course, in the event that my house burns to a tinder crisp.
I use a scanner with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) to expeditiously scan in all of my documents. The scanner that I use is the HP 7450c which is awesome, but when I bought it back in 2002 it was a bit overpriced. Sad to say that I looked on eBay and there was one for sale that was super cheap. Oh, I can scan directly to PDF's which is the reason that I like it so much. Scanning multiple pages in is nice too, because I wrote this program below to extract pages individually from the large 'blob' of PDF's. Extract PDF Pages |
